It is no secret that we are product junkies! We love trying out different beauty products, home goods, fashion items,- you name it, we love trying it all! While we have had our hits and misses when it comes to new products, we wanted to share with you some of the items that we could not live without for the month of October.

Teami Tea Infused Konjac Sponge $6.99 USD/sponge
I absolutely love these sponges. Normally, my skin is quite oily, so the last thing I want to do is wash my already oily face with my oily fingers. These sponges can be used with or without your daily cleanser, and they feel so gentle while exfoliating your skin. I’ve been putting my cleanser right on the sponge once I’ve rung it out. Bareminerals Gen Nude Powder Blush – You Had Me at Merlot $32 (CAD)
This colour you guys…seriously so perfect for fall! It’s a deep berry colour and holy moly is it ever pigmented! A little goes a long way with this blush so do not go ham with this product or you may look a little clown like. Not that I’m speaking from experience or anything…
Olehenriksen Let’s Get Luminous Set $49 (CAD)
I love everything about this set! For the price point, you can’t go wrong with being able to sample three amazing products. The set contains the truth serum which makes your skin feel silky smooth, a gel cream that isn’t oily but keeps you moisturized, and an eye cream that feels so cooling and refreshing!
Morphe Continuous Setting Mist $20 (CAD)
I have tried so many setting sprays over the years. This one is so great and it’s only $20! I’ve spent upwards of $60 on setting sprays in the past trying to find something that will keep my makeup from melting off my face. This one did the trick! I am a huge Morphe fan so I wasn’t surprised to fall in love with this product.
H&M Rib Knit Dress $40 (CAD)
I am in love with the rib-knit dresses from H&M. They are fitted in the areas where they need to be, but don’t make you feel like you’re suffocating! Overall, a very flattering fall dress. I wore the grey sweater dress for our fall family pictures and I love the way it photographed.
Call It Spring Rust Heels $60 (CAD)
I paired my rib-knit dress with these heels and it gave me all the fall vibes! The slingback design is so unique I immediately fell in love. The best part is they were comfortable and I can pair them easily with so many outfits.
Olaplex Hair Perfector No.3 $38 (CAD)
My hair tends to constantly feel dry. Between the heat in the summer, the cold in the winter, and all the hot tools I use, my hair definitely needs some TLC. I’ve been using this treatment weekly and I try to leave it on for an hour or so before I wash it out. There’s nothing like walking around the house in a shower cap to make you feel sexy!
Kayla’s Favorites
Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast $38 (CAD)
If you have fine hair like I do, this spray is pure magic. It instantly adds volume and texture to your hair, without making it feel sticky, and the smell is heavenly. I love using this spray when I do loose curls or waves in my hair to give a bit extra oomph! I also find it is great to use mid-day when your hair needs a little pick-me-up.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer $39 (CAD)
When it comes to concealer I have always been a ride or die Tarte Shape Tape girl. A couple of years ago I tried this concealer after I had heard rave reviews and to be honest I wasn’t overly impressed. But let me tell you, I am in LOVE with this product now! The finish is so beautiful and I adore how it applies under the eyes. If you are looking for a product to help with your dark circles (which I might add are pretty serious for me) this is the product for you!
Batiste Dry Shampoo, Blush $9 (CAD)
This might be one of my favorite products of all time. It is the product that I re-purchased the most by far! It is not even close. I may even have 4 of these in my bathroom right now… I probably go through at least one can every 2 weeks. It is my savior when my hair is looking not so hot and it also smells so delicious! I love all of Batiste’s dry shampoo however, for me personally it has to be the Blush version. This version doesn’t leave my hair feeling sticky or stiff and I find that it actually does a really good job of getting rid of the excess oils in my hair.
The Ordinary 100% Cold-Pressed Organic Rose Hip Seed Oil $10 (CAD)
I mentioned this brand in my Skincare Splurges & Steals post, however I will mention them again because I really love their products! This product in particular is really amazing! It seems somewhat odd to put oil on your face, however I promise you it will do so many wonders for your skin! This product is anti-aging and it provides instant hydration to your skin. Personally, I love to apply it right before bed and then use my facial roller to really immerse the product into my skin.
Indigo 3 Wick Mercury Candle- Vanilla & Maple Syrup $30 (CAD)
I absolutely love candles! There is something about a lit candle that instantly makes a room feel cozy! Not to mention the fact that scented candles can also help keep your home smelling delicious! I am somewhat picky when it comes to scents of candles. I am really partial to more clean smelling candles and don’t really enjoy anything too sweet smelling. I am also a sucker for anything vanilla which explains why I love this candle so much!
Zara Leather Biker Jacket $179 (CAD)
I honestly think that everyone should own a leather jacket. It pairs with anything and you can dress it up or down and it looks amazing either way! This jacket in particular is one of my all-time favorites! I get so many compliments on it any time I wear it. The leather is so soft and I love the biker style.
Jouer Cosmetics Essential Enhancer Balm $22 (CAD)
This lip balm is so buttery and delicious! I absolutely adore how it feels on my lips! My favorite part about this lip balm is that it is not sticky whatsoever! It is also super hydrating and provides a really nice shine to the lips. The other great thing about this product is that it is actually proven to increase the fullness of your lips- and who doesn’t want full luscious lips??
TOPSHOP Jamie Jeans $70 (CAD)
These jeans are my absolute favorite pair of jeans that I have ever owned. I am serious. I have never owned a pair of jeans that are so flattering, yet comfortable, and they also have a 30 inch length which is amazing if you are petite like me! I love the high waist and the pockets are perfectly situated on the bum- again super flattering! I have a couple colors and would like to purchase a few more since I am such a fan!
